"We're all under the same sky... And the world has conspired us to be together."
Thinking about things that stay the same; thinking about staying where you always were. Thoughts of similarities and memories of way back -- they make everything around you seem to change faster than you could ever catch up.
What is change? Having met and known a stranger is a drastic change that everyone takes for granted. Yes, its always the sudden, small changes that leave as fast as they come. Then again, they're the types that bring you to a soul to know and love. What is change? Its losing to gain. Its a gift that nobody wants, but it happens anyway.
When I see people who change to lose instead of to gain, I'm seeing life as trial and error. People who don't have that kind of guidance, do things, change for reasons that aren't good enough, and they fall flat on their behind. It's just a lack of guidance..
But even if change happens either to gain or to lose, I know that the world has brought us together, and my God has allowed us to meet. There must be a reason for knowing each other.
There must be a cause to know you, stranger. It has always been better to know you.

M / Website (11.4.07 00:45) In this world, we all have a part to play. We're cogs in the eternal machine. Each one moving its own way, own speed, own direction; and at times, we change. Slow down, speed up; directions and patterns. Change. Change is guided by our reasoning; be we aware of a force or forces outside of ourselves, or whether we make a judgement based on our knowledge of situations present. Change is traumatic. Induces stress. Even when it is positive change. And change isn't always instantaneous. It can be drawn out; invisible to those close - only seen from the sidelines of our lives by those who frequent us less often. Our path through life is seen through our experiences, through the memories others hold of ourselves. Through our actions and deeds. And it is a learning process; I fear one we strive to perfect, but rarely achieve. Yet we do not keep trying. Moving from one thing to another. Always reaching for the better; be it selfish desires or greater good. We are perpetually in motion. We are cogs in the machine. |

Free (13.4.07 12:39) M: I've made up a conclusion -- choices are the basis of change, attitude is the basis of choices, guidance is the basis of attitude, and wherever your faith is is the basis of guidance. Do you think perfection is a good reason for change? Haha. Just thought about it. Debbit and Peppit: I miss you girls!!!!! I've been studying the whole week. It makes me miss everyone from church more. Sigh. Hope to see you soon. We all gotta go out when Pats comes back from Leyte. We need more talks on deep crap. Haha :b. Mwah! |

M / Website (15.4.07 01:47) Perfection is something we can strive towards, but not something that is achievable; it is like a carrot dangled just out of reach. An abstract ideal that changes like the wind. Never static. Always something that could be "more perfect" . So, from that, I would say that changing to attempt to achieve perfection is not a good reason. We need to accept what we have, who we are, where we are going. We can make changes, but, we will never reach perfection and need to realise that. There will always be "one more step". . But all that said, I like your reasoning and agree with it. The only thing I would add is that "guidance" is also driven by our past experiences, any prejudices we hold (conscious or unconscious), and any pressures from our environment that may cause us to see things differently from one day to the next. . The world is not black and white; it is rare for the choice to be made up of a very obviously good and right option, and an obviously wrong and bad option. This, it where our "guidance" comes in; our reasonings and interpretations. Allowing us to see the "least worst" or "most best" option for the situation. . M - at least, that's what I think. |

Free (15.4.07 11:13) Love yer opinion, M. I suppose thats what bring the beauty of life -- not knowing how the new sunrise and sunset will turn out to be, and having to choose for the most uncomprehendable situations. I think its okay to strive for perfections. At least, as long as you have a reason for it. I'm not sure. Its wrong and right at the same time; its deception and truth all at once hehe. |
